Almost 1,000 women and children at workshops at our "Hi Girls!" Centre

Wydarzenia

The "Hi Girls!" Centre we have established, operates in Ogrodowa street in Warsaw. We invite you to free classes of women and children from Ukraine.

Most of the meetings are conducted by women refugees. There is also a special corner for children.

So far, the Help Centre for Women from Ukraine "Hi Girls!" has hosted:

  • Meetings with a psychologist for women
  • Culinary workshops for women and children
  • Polish language classes for women (2 groups, level A1)
  • Workshop supporting competences on the labour market for women
  • Artistic workshops for women and children (painting, collage, embroidery)
  • Integration, information (formal and legal issues) and support meetings (with a psychologist and art therapy) for newly arrived women from Ukraine

Some of the classes are co-organised with the Ukrainian House. We also constantly cooperate with schools for children from Ukraine.

So far, 950 people have participated in the activities.

Over 220 schools in the second edition of the "Sanitary pads at school for every girl" programme

The second edition of the "Sanitary pads at school for every girl" programme, implemented by the Kulczyk Foundation and the Rossmann brand, has started. This time, the program will cover over 220 schools from all over Poland. Thanks to us, students will have free access to sanitary pads throughout the school year 2022/2023.

We financed summer camps for children from Ukraine in Marki near Warsaw

The "Ukrainian Summer in Warsaw", that is summer camps for children from Ukraine, has ended. They were organised by the Educational Center Children of Ukraine Foundation. The Foundation provides education to children who were forced to leave their homeland due to the war. The camps were financed by the "Hi Girls!" Grant Programme.

Recruitment for the 7th edition of the Yellow Plate program has ended. It is the largest non-governmental child nutrition support system

The Kulczyk Foundation was recruiting for the 7th edition of the Yellow Plate program. The Yellow Plate is the largest non-governmental child nutrition support system in Poland. which also promotes gender equality in the kitchen. The 7th edition of the program will start on September 1, 2022, and last until August 31, 2023. Recruitment ended on August 19.
