For some reason, the world is bringing about a revolution for itself and for us. Evidently it seeks to be different. The time has finally come for a new, more feminine version of the world. Patriarchy and machismo are becoming a thing of the past.
Women have the strength and determination to take the first step towards something better. Our role, our influence and our importance to the world is much greater than ever.
We are also much more aware of our impact on the world, which we are truly changing more than before. Change is a woman and a woman is very often the source of change!
An entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, she is the founder of the Kulczyk Foundation, a private family foundation that addresses “unaddressed” issues - problems that receive too little attention in the public debate and in the activities of official institutions. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the Foundation's Board. For more than a decade of activity, the Foundation has carried out more than 200 aid projects in nearly 70 countries. Patron of the Malta Festival, one of the most important cultural events in Poland, which places special emphasis on topics related to femininity and the challenges faced by women in the modern world. She is a supporter and promoter of the Sustainable Development Goals, established in 2015 by the United Nations (UN). Her great passion, to which she owes her in-depth knowledge of major global issues, has become the production of documentaries. She has shot more than 60 of them, in cooperation with CNN International and TVN Discovery. It was while making them that she got to know victims of injustice and discrimination from around the world, whom the Foundation she runs began to help. In 2018, she was awarded the Order of the Smile for her outstanding contributions to children.
Dominika Kulczyk is a graduate in Sinology from the Department of Oriental Studies, and in Political Sciences from the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. She studied at the university in Shanghai and Beijing University. She also received her post graduate degree in strategic philanthropy organized by the Rockefeller Foundation.
We wish for a world in which every woman can draw on her inner strength and talents to realise her dreams and desires, following the path towards freedom, equality and independence.
The aim of our actions is creation of a world in which there are no legal, social, environmental and cultural gender-related limitations. We support the freedom of women in three spheres: Awareness, Body and Being. Each woman who fully realises her potential enables progress among all social groups.
We fight discrimination and injustice that affects women and girls all around the world. We develop and support long-term aid and education programmes that address the various forms and causes of exclusion. At the heart of our actions is an education which is free from limiting stereotypes and which aims to open minds.
We rely on the principle of the domino effect which consists of interventions that inspire and initiate a sequence of further results. The phenomenon causes the initial contribution of good to bring about an effect of good many times greater than the initial good action.
I want to support women's freedom in the spheres of awareness,
body and being.
