The way a child views the world is different from ours not only because they are younger and less experienced. It is also because they’re simply shorter. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to see the world when you’re a metre tall?
What if there was no green? What if electricity hadn’t been invented? Answers to these questions require creative thinking. And that’s great, because thanks to innovative solutions, the world is growing. Every child thinks creatively, sometimes only we, adults, can’t see it.
Your child should feel important, appreciated and they should believe in their own abilities. Even if they don’t do great in one area, there are others in which they feel more confident. The parent’s role is to help the child find and name their strengths.
We like holidays or at least weekend trips out of town. However, if this is not possible, we can take mental trips. Let’s hit the road!
