Rather Than My Employee’s Gender What Matters to Me Are Their Skills and Knowledge

Career Cycle

Women are heads of large corporations less often, so business still...

Largely underestimates them. Their voice is less prominent, which is a pity, for we have a lot to offer.

When I hear the words, ‘a working woman’, I imagine...

My Mom who inspired me to choose my career and still is my mentor.

Are women the weaker sex? Whenever I hear this, I think to myself...

Oh dear! There are so many reasons to debunk this expression. They are not even worth citing in my opinion since this might only reinforce this inaccurate stereotype.

Careers are most hampered for women...

By stereotypes we constantly need to face and prove we are capable of the same things as men, and often even more.

If I could introduce one regulation to encourage women to be professionally active, it would be...

I am not sure if this is a legislative issue. I believe we need to change our approach towards women’s professional activity. Women should know they don’t need to choose between their career or their family, because their partner is equally committed to family life. This enables each of them to pursue their careers equally without affecting their family life. Equality is not only about privileges, but also about shared responsibilities. Equal distribution so that neither party is at a disadvantage.

What impresses me about the women I work with is...

Their openness to discussion, to new things, to challenges. I am really lucky to meet the right people and be surrounded by ambitious, inspiring and supportive women.

In order to empower women in my company, I decided that...

Let’s start by saying that rather than the employee’s gender, what matters to my company are their skills, knowledge and experience. My business partner and I try to make MOKOSH a place where everyone feels comfortable and is treated equally. Anyone who needs support can rely on us to provide it in whatever form necessary. Our employees are well aware of that.

What I would most like to hear from my female employees...

That MOKOSH is a dream place to work. No more and no less.

Menstruation at work is still a taboo...

Which is why I decided for MOKOSH to join the Kulczyk Foundation’s ‘Career Cycle’ campaign. As an innovative company, it is natural for us to provide access to menstrual products. Our employees also think this kind of support is quite obvious.
