7th Final of the One Day Initiative

Events

The Final of the One Day Initiative is organized every year to celebrate the end of fundraising to realize the dreams of children from orphanages – those in care of the One Day Foundation. Every year before Christmas on the website www.oneday.com.pl you can fill in the Table of Dreams which contains the information on what the children from childcare centers, which participate in the action, want to find under the Christmas tree. More than 690 kids’ dreams from 42 facilities from all over Poland have come true.

To celebrate the end of the initiative in the “Garnizon Sztuki” theater there was a beautiful concert full of emotions. There were the stars indicated by the One Day Foundation’s children themselves. At this event there were: Anika Dąbrowska (the winner of the second edition of “The Voice of Kids” TV show), Zuza Jabłońska (the finalist of the first edition of “The Voice of Kids”), Sobel (the rapper holding over 13 million views of a single track on YouTube), and Maciej Pęda (a magician, the semi-finalist of the “Poland’s Got Talent” TV show). The event was led by: actress Grażyna Wolszczak, photographer Lidia Popiel, model Karolina Pisarek and the founder of the One Day Foundation – Monika Krzyżanowska. This year’s Final of the One Day Initiative was followed by over 1300 children, carers and donors.

The celebration of another successful final of the One Day Initiative was accompanied by introducing the USAMODZIELNIENI.pl application dedicated to the adolescent youth from childcare centers created jointly with the students of the Warsaw University of Technology supported by Kulczyk Foundation.

You can watch the concert of the 7th Final of the One Day Initiative on YouTube. The recording will be available until 26 December 2020.
