Przemysław Pohrybieniuk (49) is an experienced leader with more than 25 years of experience in local and international companies as well as in non-governmental organizations. He was responsible for various aspects of management, marketing, business development, reputation management and social communication, in, amongst others – leaders in their industries: Danone (board member), PwC, BBDO (PR), Dentons, and social organizations such as the “Saving Kids with Cancer” Foundation (CEO) and ACCA (managing director for Poland and Baltic States).

- The Kulczyk Foundation’s mission is to fight for women’s freedom in the fields of awareness, body and being. I am dreaming of us to address the real problems women face effectively and support them in their own freedom and give them strength and tools to realize their own potential. Our main project is to tackle period poverty around the world. The research conducted on our behalf shows that over 500 million women in the world have problems to access menstrual hygiene products – WE need to change it! I am determined to introduce solutions in the coming years which will change this situation. That is why I am strengthening the foundation team – I have invited Przemek Pohrybieniuk, whose experience in the business world, combined with success in social activities, should give us a new vision and energy for action. I believe that Przemek will meet the challenges because he is an extremely experienced manager, a genuine leader, and, very importantly, a great and good man. I am glad that he will manage the current work of the Kulczyk Foundation. I believe that thanks to him the foundation will implement important philanthropic programs in the world. Przemysław Pohrybieniuk was a co-creator and leader of one of the most important social programs in Poland “Share the meal” – a program of socially engaged marketing and “Milk Start” – a product from the business area of social innovation.

Currently, he is also a Member of the Program Council of the Open Eyes Economy Summit in Kraków and a Board Member of Medical University of Wroclaw and “Saving Kids with Cancer” Foundation.

He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw (he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations) and the School of Management at the University of Bath (Great Britain - MSC). Married, father of three daughters.

It’s not a private problem. It's a systemic gap – Polish foundation speaks about menopause in the European Parliament

On March 24, the European Parliament held its first-ever hearing on menopause. A representative of the Kulczyk Foundation highlighted the topic of menopause as a significant social and economic challenge. The Foundation emphasized the need to break taboos and introduce systemic solutions to support women during the perimenopausal period.

White Paper on Menopause: Diagnosis and Recommendations 2025

The Kulczyk Foundation has published the first White Paper on Menopause in Poland and one of the few in the world. Menopause affects 100% of women, yet it remains a taboo subject. The document is open to everyone and available in English. It could easily be scaled to other countries in Europe and around the world. The premiere took place at the Polish Ministry of Health.
