On March 24, the European Parliament held its first-ever hearing on menopause. A representative of the Kulczyk Foundation highlighted the topic of menopause as a significant social and economic challenge. The Foundation emphasized the need to break taboos and introduce systemic solutions to support women during the perimenopausal period.
The Kulczyk Foundation has published the first White Paper on Menopause in Poland and one of the few in the world. Menopause affects 100% of women, yet it remains a taboo subject. The document is open to everyone and available in English. It could easily be scaled to other countries in Europe and around the world. The premiere took place at the Polish Ministry of Health.
During this year's European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Katowice, we encouraged participation in the Równowaga (Balance) competition. During the panel discussion in the "Company is People" category: "Recruitment aligned with equal pay standards and pay transparency – the latest changes," we had the opportunity to explore related issues.
