Kulczyk Foundation at the European Parliament – A United Voice for Dignity and Access to Menstrual Products Across the EU

Dominika Kulczyk, Founder and Chair of the Kulczyk Foundation,
alongside a delegation representing our Foundation:
-
Monika Dziekan – Board Member, General Director
-
Joanna Maliszewska-Mazek – Director of Project Management
-
Anna Samsel – Project Manager
-
Sebastian Grochala – Director of Marketing & PR
has just returned from Brussels, where, at the invitation of the European Parliament, they took part in the first-ever public hearing on combating period poverty and advancing women’s rights in menstrual health.
The joint meeting of the Committee on Public Health and the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality was an opportunity to present our ongoing efforts in the field of menstrual health, as well as to engage in dialogue and exchange reflections with representatives from EU Member States.
In addition to Dominika Kulczyk, the event also featured powerful contributions from:
-
Natalia Blahova, Co-founder and Coordinator of Dôstojná menštruácia (Dignified Menstruation) from Slovakia
-
Justine Okolodkoff Zakrajsek, Head of Advocacy at Règles Élémentaires from France
In this unique forum, we echoed the same call we make in Poland:
for free access to menstrual products and menstrual health education in all public schools across the EU.
Because access to knowledge is a human rights issue — and access to menstrual hygiene is a matter of dignity.
And in just one week — it’s Menstrual Hygiene Day!
Join us in celebrating with the hashtag #MenstruationIsNatural!
