The article by Marta Schmude-Olczak answers important questions and explains the consistently realized operating model of Kulczyk Foundation. “Many people think that since wealthy people and companies have so much, they should be sharing. We should be sharing because sharing is a sign that others are important to us. But effective aid must lead to our donations starting a domino effect, starting the mechanism of positive and sustainable social changes. Here in Poland, we still have trouble talking about effective aid because effectiveness is associated with business and, frankly, the stereotype of the start of profit being the end of caring for others. But no, the process of effective and efficient aid is very much like a business process. You should know what your donation goes to, what it changes for now, and what it changes for good. Just like a business investment does,” writes Marta Schmude-Olczak.
