A pandemic is not the time to be perfect. This is not the time for great activities, for testing, for checking, for comparison with others. This is the moment for self-understanding. And for employers to be understanding of their employees.

As the ‘Engaged One’ overworks, overhandles and over woos the world, on the other side of the spectrum, is the ‘Crumpled One’ who must crumple up, hit rock bottom and stock up on ice cream. That’s just the way it is.

It’s not easy to change jobs or specialisation. For some, it is mentally impossible.

Older men look at the changes less favourably. It is difficult for them to understand the willingness of young men to slow down their careers and take care of the child.

Let’s reinforce, promote and advertise. Because #IfNotUsThenWho? This is what #NewSolidarity is about.
