There is no single good time to talk to your daughter about her period. There are thousands of opportunities to do so.

Strongly emotional, often negative, and sometimes even vulgar. On the language used in the context of menstruation.

My period doesn't hurt. It's nice. It wasn't always like this.

It's not true that only women menstruate. Trans men – with beards, a low voice, and a receding hairline – go to the men's toilets to change their tampons

I would like to point out that I have periods too. As a human. As a woman. Just like that. It affects more people than hunger, lack of access to water, or more recently the coronavirus, which has become a growing problem for many.
