The topic of menstruation appeared for the first time in the Polish Senate. The Senate Team "Health of Poles" debated on menstrual health. One of the conclusions of the debate is the plan to prepare the first Polish bill on menstruation. It is to be developed by the Periodic Coalition
In September 2022, the second edition of the Kulczyk Foundation and Rossmann joint program "Pads at school for every girl" starts. This time it will cover over 200 schools from different regions of Poland, and students from these schools will have free access to sanitary products throughout the school year 2022/2023.
On May 13, the parliamentary subcommittee for social policy dealt with the topic of poverty and menstrual exclusion. All thanks to the initiative of the Periodic Coalition - an association of organizations dealing with the topic of menstruation. The Representatives of the Periodic Coalition appeared in the Sejm to present solutions to combat poverty and menstrual exclusion systematically introduced in other countries.
The Polish-Ukrainian Sisterhood has launched the First Edition of the Grant Program "Hi Girls!" today. The Sisterhood will donate nearly PLN 1.5 million for the best projects devoted to long-term help for women from Ukraine. The maximum amount of the grant is PLN 100,000.
