MALTA Festival with the highest-rank ZASP Award

The jury of the GUSTAW award, describing the Malta Festival as one of the most important artistic events in this part of Europe, pointed out that the festival, which has maintained the highest level for over thirty years, raising discussions and tackling important issues of today's culture, constantly presents an impressive theatre, music, dance, and film program, with the participation of both alternative and experimental bands, as well as outstanding world-class creators.

The GUSTAW Award, ZASP's highest distinction, was established in honor of Gustaw Holoubek, an outstanding artist of the 20th century. The Malta Festival was awarded for its significant contribution to cultivating traditions and creating new values of national culture, as well as for the promotion of Polish culture internationally. I am proud and happy that this extraordinary undertaking will continue to be the pride of my hometown. At the same time, thanks to it, we will be able to widely present the impressive achievements of many great female artists and emphasize the contribution of women to the achievements of contemporary culture - emphasized Dominika Kulczyk, president of the Kulczyk Foundation.

They inspire us to do good

– As Maria Skłodowska-Curie wrote, life is beautiful as long as a person can give it meaning, and helping others is one of the most beautiful meanings of life. Both Marta, Halina and Wiktoria are able to encourage others to help those in need. It's a great skill. I congratulate the winners, I am glad their great work and commitment have been appreciated, and I wish them to extend the good that, thanks to them, to more people, to as many people as possible - sums up Dominika Kulczyk.
